Sometimes it is necessary to have the PDF documents generated out of the Magento store and saved anywhere altogether. Saving hundreds of those documents may take lots of disk space. This is due to the Magento default fonts size as it contains plenty of different character sets. If your store settings allow using the simple font without any special characters, our solution is here just for you!

Change the font

Our module offers replacing of the Magento default font with the individuals in TTF format separately for regular bold and italic types.

This change brings two advantages.

• The size of generated PDF document reduces up to 10x of its size.

• Now font may fit your stores' design or just make the PDF documents more attractive

Size reduction

While the PDF documents with deafult font may be about 1.5MB of size, our test confirmed the reduction of size up to 120kB with individual font uploaded.

The settings are very simple and intuitive. Just install and upload the fonts. That is all you need to do for getting your original PDF documents.
